Resumo O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar o uso do modelo de rede neural convolucional You Only Look Once (YOLO) para detecção e contagem eficiente de brotos de Eucalyptus sp. em plantações, por meio de fotografias aéreas capturadas por veículos aéreos não tripulados. Para isso, avaliou-se a importância da organização dos dados durante o processo de treinamento do sistema. Foram utilizados dois conjunto de dados para treinar a rede neural convolucional: um consistindo em imagens com um único broto e o outro com pelo menos dez brotos por imagem. Os resultados mostraram altas taxas de precisão e recall para ambos os conjuntos de dados. A rede neural convolucional treinada com imagens contendo dez brotos por imagem apresentou desempenho superior quando aplicada a dados não utilizados durante o treinamento. Portanto, a rede neural convolucional YOLO pode ser usada para detecção e contagem de brotos de clones de Eucalyptus sp. a partir de imagens aéreas capturadas por veículos aéreos não tripulados em áreas florestais. Abstract The objective of this work was to investigate the use of the You Only Look Once (YOLO) convolutional neural network model for the detection and efficient counting of Eucalyptus sp. shoots in stands through aerial photographs captured by unmanned aerial vehicles. For this, the significance of data organization was evaluated during the system-training process. Two datasets were used to train the convolutional neural network: one consisting of images with a single shoot and another with at least ten shoots per image. The results showed high precision and recall rates for both datasets. The convolutional neural network trained with images containing ten shoots per image showed a superior performance when applied to data not used during training. ABSTRACT Background: We have developed a micropropagation technique methodology to clonal micro-garden formation of Bambusa vulgaris selected adult plant. Collection site (i.e., stock plant cultivated in different environments) and seasonality of shoot collection (i.e., months of the year) effects on in vitro culture were evaluated. Explants that showed normal development were ex vitro rooted in mini-incubator system, and three culture media (WPM, MS and deionized water + agar) supplemented with plant growth regulators (IBA, NAA and BAP) and antibiotic (streptomycin sulphate and culture medium free - control) were evaluated. Micropropagated plants were acclimatized in a shadow house and transferred to a semi-hydroponic system for establishment of a clonal micro-garden. The efficacy of the cloning protocol was determined with genetic fidelity analysis by ISSR molecular markers. Results: Considering all inoculations, 21.9% of nodal segments were in vitro established in nine shoot collections. The rooting percentage was 36.6%, and no interactions were observed between the use of culture medium and antibiotic. Culture medium free antibiotic resulted in 80.0% of survival and 50.0% of adventitious rooting. Micropropagated plants presented adequate growth and adaptation to ex vitro conditions in the clonal micro-garden. Molecular analyses by ISSR markers indicated the absence of genetic variations, and histological analyses revealed normal adventitious root formation originating from meristematic cells. Conclusion: The formation of a clonal micro-garden was demonstrated, proving the feasibility of the tested technique. Our results contribute to the development of a clonal propagation protocol for B. vulgaris selected adult plants.

RESUMO: As raízes de Cochlospermum regium são usadas na medicina popular, pois seu extrato apresenta diversas moléculas fitoquímicas, algumas com atividade antimicrobiana, que, consequentemente, expõe esta espécie ao risco de erosão genética. Assim, o objetivo deste estudo foi elaborar um protocolo de multiplicação in vitro para explantes de C. regium usando esterilização química do meio de cultura. Gemas apicais obtidas de plântulas de C. regium germinadas in vitro foram inoculadas em meio de cultivo MS suplementado com 0,05mg L-1 de ANA e 1mg L-1 de BAP e esterilizado pela adição do agente químico hipoclorito de sódio (NaOCl) nas concentrações de cloro ativo de 0,001%, 0,003% e 0,005%. O meio autoclavado foi utilizado como controle. Os resultados mostraram que a contaminação por bactérias aos 91 dias de cultivo foi significativamente (P<0,05) controlada pela autoclavagem, 0,001% e 0,005% de cloro ativo. Além disso, a indução de calos no meio de cultura com 0,001% e 0,005% de cloro ativo foi, respectivamente, 30% e 20% maior do que na esterilização por autoclavagem. Não houve diferença significativa (P<0,05) da porcentagem de indução de brotos entre os métodos de esterilização e 65% dos explantes sobreviveram na presença de 0,005% de cloro ativo. Análises histológicas indicaram que o cloro ativo não afetou os eventos morfogênicos. Os resultados indicaram que a esterilização química por meio do uso de 0,001% - 0,005% de cloro ativo auxiliou no controle da proliferação de bactérias e fungos no meio de cultura e não afetou o desenvolvimento dos explantes de C. regium, tornando-a uma alternativa em relação a autoclavagem.

ABSTRACT: Cochlospermum regium roots are used in popular medicine and its extract has diverse phytochemical molecules some with antimicrobial activity, consequently exposing this specie to genetic erosion risks. Thus, the objective of this study was to develop an in vitro multiplication protocol using chemical sterilization of culture medium. Therefore, explants obtained from apical buds of C. regium seedlings were inoculated into with 0.05mg L-1 NAA and 1mg L-1 BAP sterilized by chemical agent sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) at 0.001%, 0.003% and 0.005% of active chlorine (Cl). Autoclaved culture medium was used as control. Result showed that the contamination by bacterial at 91 days of cultivation was significantly (P<0.05) controlled by autoclaving, 0.001% and 0.005% Cl. Moreover, the callus induction in the culture medium with 0.001% and 0.005% Cl was, respectively, 30% and 20% major than autoclaving sterilization. There was not significant (P<0.05) in the percentage of shoot induction among the sterilization preparations methods, and 65% of the explants survived in the presence of culture medium with 0.005% Cl. Histological analyses indicated that the Cl did not have any deleterious effects on morphogenic events. These results indicated that the chemical sterilization using 0.001% - 0.005% Cl controlled the fungal and bacterial multiplication in the culture medium and no affected the C. regium explants development, becoming it an alternative to autoclaving method.

SUMMARY: We evaluated the supplementation of the MS culture medium with active chlorine and activated charcoal for the in vitro culture of Bambusa vulgaris. Lateral shoots were collected from field-cultivated plants to obtain explants, which consisted of nodal segments of 1-2 cm length, containing one axillary bud. The MS culture medium was supplemented with the following treatments: E1= 0.004 % v v-1 of active chlorine + 4 g L-1 of charcoal; E2= 0.004 % v v-1 of active chlorine; E3= 4 g L-1 charcoal and E4= control (no active chlorine and no charcoal). The percentage of oxidation, fungal and bacterial contamination, explant establishment, survival, sprout and adventitious rooting were evaluated every 21 d, during 63 d. The use of active chlorine reduced the fungal (28 %) and bacterial (38 %) contamination, being the treatment with the highest percentage of established explants (16 %), survival (68 %) and sprout induction (95 %) after 63 d. After 36 days from the beginning of the multiplication stage, some explants presented spontaneous rooting, without the application of plant growth regulators. An anatomical analysis of sprouts and roots revealed the presence of meristematic zones. Furthermore, it indicated that the emergence of adventitious roots occurred from the nodal region in association with axillary buds. Our results contribute toward the development of more efficient protocols for the in vitro propagation of B. vulgaris, from which we recommend using active chlorine for further assessments.

RESUMEN: En el estudio se evaluó el suplemento de cloro activo y carbono activado en el cultivo in vitro de Bambusa vulgaris. Brotes laterales fueron colectados de las plantas cultivadas en el campo para obtener explantes. Los explantes consistieron en segmentos nodales de 1-2 cm de longitud que contenían una yema axilar. El medio MS se suplementó con los siguientes tratamientos: E1 = 0,004 % v v-1 de cloro activo + 4 g L-1 de carbón; E2 = 0,004 % v v-1 de cloro activo; E3 = 4 g L-1 de carbón y E4 = control (sin suplemento con cloro activo y sin carbón). El porcentaje de oxidación, la contaminación por hongos y bacterias, el establecimiento del explante, la supervivencia, la inducción del brote y enraizamiento se evaluaron durante 63 días. El uso de cloro activo redujo la contaminación por hongos (28 %) y bacterianas (38 %), siendo el tratamiento con mayor porcentaje de explantes establecidos (16 %), supervivencia (68 %) y inducción de brotes (95 %). Después de 36 días, algunos explantes presentaron enraizamiento espontáneo, sin aplicación de reguladores de crecimiento. Un análisis anatómico de los brotes y raíces mostró zonas meristemáticas, la conexión entre el sistema vascular del tallo y las hojas y la aparición de raíces adventicias en la región nodal en asociación con los brotes axilares. Los resultados contribuyen al desarrollo de protocolos más eficientes para la propagación in vitro de B. vulgaris, de los cuales se recomienda el uso de cloro activo para futuras evaluaciones.

RESUMO A citometria de fluxo e os marcadores microssatélites foram utilizados para avaliar a fidelidade genética de plantas micropropagadas de dois clones de Eucalyptus urophylla x E. globulus e um clone de Eucalyptus grandis x E. globulus, provenientes de material adulto. Os clones foram multiplicados in vitro em 25 subcultivos sucessivos em meio de cultura MS suplementado com BA (2,22 µM) e ANA (0,05 µM). O alongamento das brotações foi obtido no meio MS acrescido de AIB (2,46 µM) e BA (0,22 µM). O enraizamento ex vitro e a aclimatização foram realizados conjuntamente. Os clones micropropagados demonstraram estabilidade genética através das análises de citometria de fluxo e de marcadores microssatélites. Os resultados revelaram que a micropropagação com fins de rejuvenescimento clonal, corresponde a uma técnica viável quanto à obtenção de clones híbridos de E. globulus, geneticamente estáveis.

ABSTRACT Flow cytometry and microsatellite markers were used to determine a genetic fidelity of micropropagated plants from the two Eucalyptus urophylla x E. globulus clones and a Eucalyptus grandis x E. globulus clone derived from adult material. Clones were repeatedly subcultured for 25 subcultures on MS medium supplemented with BA (2.22 µM) and ANA (0.05 µM) for in vitro shoot multiplication. The elongation was performed in MS culture medium supplemented with AIB (2.46 µM) and BA(0.22 µM). The ex vitro rooting and acclimatization phases were lead at the same time. The micropropagated clones showed genetic stability by flow cytometry and microsatellite markers. The results proved that micropropagation, for purposes of rejuvenation, can be a viable technique to generate genetically stable or identical E. globulus hybrid clones.

RESUMO: A artrite encefalite caprina causa perdas consideráveis para a produção caprina. A principal forma de transmissão do vírus da artrite encefalite caprina é a ingestão de colostro ou leite de fêmeas infectadas. No entanto, algumas transmissões não podem ser explicadas por esta via. Dessa forma, este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a transmissão do vírus da artrite encefalite caprina por via transplacentária (vertical). Foram realizadas coletas de sangue em 283 crias recém-nascidas das raças Anglo-Nubiana e Saanen, provenientes de progenitores soropositivos e soronegativos. As amostras foram coletadas logo após o nascimento e analisadas pelas técnicas de imunodifusão em gel de agarose e western blot. No teste de imunodifusão em gel de agarose, nenhum cabrito foi detectado reagente. Porém, no teste de western blot, quatro cabritos nasceram soropositivos. Esse resultado indica que, apesar de baixa frequência (1,4%), existe a possibilidade de transmissão via transplacentária do lentivírus de pequenos ruminantes.

ABSTRACT: Caprine arthritis encephalitis causes considerable losses in goat production. The main form of the caprine arthritis encephalitis virus transmission is through the ingestion of colostrum or milk from infected females. However, some transmissions cannot be explained in this manner. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate transplacental transmission of caprine arthritis encephalitis virus. Blood samples were collected from 283 newborn kids of Anglo-Nubian and Saanen breeds born from seropositive and seronegative goats. Samples were collected immediately after birth and analyzed with agarose gel immunodiffusion and western blot. All samples were negative in the agarose gel immunodiffusion. However, the western blot test demonstrated that four kids were born positive for caprine arthritis encephalitis virus. This result indicates that although in a low frequency (1.4%), there is a possibility of transplacental transmission of small ruminant lentivirus.

RESUMO Swietenia macrophylla é uma espécie que fornece madeira de alta qualidade, no entanto, sua vulnerabilidade à extinção somada aos desafios para seu cultivo tem despertado a atenção para novas alternativas, como a Khaya anthotheca. A espécie foi recentemente introduzida na América do Sul, mostrando potencial para a produção de madeira de alta qualidade. No entanto, informações sobre o melhoramento são limitadas, assim como estratégias para a propagação vegetativa. No presente trabalho foram obtidos resultados significativos da aplicação da enxertia por garfagem e da mergulhia aérea na propagação de K. anthotheca. Primeiramente, foi analisada a compatibilidade entre enxerto e porta-enxerto em combinações intra e interespecíficas entre K. anthotheca e S. macrophylla. Adicionalmente, a mergulhia aérea foi realizada em plantas de K. anthotheca irrigadas com três soluções nutritivas (100%, 50% e 25% da concentração original) combinadas com a aplicação de ácido indolbutírico (AIB) para avaliação do enraizamento. Da enxertia, foi verificada compatibilidade de 48% após 200 dias. No entanto, a combinação interespecífica entre K. anthotheca (porta-enxerto) e S. macrophylla (enxerto) não apresentou compatibilidade, enquanto que a enxertia recíproca resultou em 52% de compatibilidade. Através da mergulhia aérea, a irrigação com pelo menos 50% da concentração de nutrientes e combinada com a aplicação de AIB (3,0 ou 8,0 g.L-1) resultou na melhor performance de enraizamento. No geral, recomenda-se a enxertia por garfagem, exceto para a combinação S. macrophylla (enxerto) com K. anthotheca (porta-enxerto). A mergulhia aérea pode ser útil para a propagação de genótipos selecionados de K. anthotheca em programas de melhoramento genético.

ABSTRACT Swietenia macrophylla yields high-quality wood; however, its vulnerability to extinction coupled with challenges for its cultivation have brought attention to its replacement for alternative species such as the Khaya anthotheca. The species has been recently introduced to South America, with potential for the production of high-quality wood. However, limited background on breeding and efficient strategies for its vegetative propagation exist. Here, we achieved significant results with the application of cleft grafting and air layering for the propagation of K. anthotheca plants grown from seeds. First, we analyzed the compatibility of scions and rootstocks for intraspecific and interspecific cleft grafting combinations of K. anthotheca and S. macrophylla. Second, air layering was performed in K. anthotheca seedlings irrigated with three nutrient solution (100%, 50% and 25% of the initial concentration of nutrients) combined with the application of indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) to evaluate adventitious rooting. From cleft grafting, we achieved an overall graft compatibility and survival of 48% after 200 days. However, the interspecific combination of S. macrophylla (scion) and K. anthotheca (rootstock) implicated in no compatibility, while the reciprocal resulted in 52% of compatibility. Through air layering, the irrigation with the nutrient solution with at least 50% of the nutrients concentration and with IBA (3.0 or 8.0 g.L-1) resulted in the best adventitious rooting. Overall, we recommend cleft grafting, except for the combination S. macrophylla (scion) and K. anthotheca (rootstock), with no compatibility. Air layering might also be useful for the propagation of K. anthotheca genotypes in breeding programs.

Os híbridos de Eucalyptus globulus representam uma excelente alternativa para o setor de celulose e papel, em razão dos ganhos em qualidade da madeira para a fabricação de celulose. Entretanto, estes híbridos têm apresentado recalcitrância ao enraizamento adventício. Assim, a micropropagação é apontada como a técnica para o rejuvenescimento desses híbridos adultos, viabilizando a propagação clonal dos mesmos. O presente trabalho avaliou o cultivo in vitro de três clones de Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus globulus e de três clones de Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus globulus, em relação à multiplicação in vitro, no meio MS suplementado com 0,5 mg L-1 de BAP e 0,01 mg L-1 de ANA, bem como o efeito das concentrações de 0,25; 0,50; 0,75 e 1,0 mg L-1 de AIB e dos meios de cultura MS e JADS no alongamento in vitro das brotações. Os clones diferiram quanto à multiplicação in vitro das brotações e apresentaram uma taxa de multiplicação média dos clones de 3,0 tufos de brotações em cada subcultivo, ao longo dos 25subcultivos realizados. No alongamento in vitro, os clones diferiram quanto às concentrações de AIB adequadas para provocar o alongamento, bem como em relação aos meios de cultura MS e JADS. O intervalo médio entre 0,40 e 0,80 mg L-1 de AIB proporcionou o maior número e comprimento das brotações alongadas in vitro e com maior vigor.

Eucalyptus globulus hybrids represent an excellent alternative to the pulp and paper sector, because of gains in wood quality for pulp. However, these hybrids have shown recalcitrance to adventitious rooting. Thus, micropropagation is considered the technique for rejuvenating adult genetic materials, allowing its clonal propagation. This study evaluated the in vitro culture of three clones of Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus globulus and three clones of Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus globulus in relation to in vitro multiplication on MS medium supplemented with 0.5 mgL-1 BAP and 0,01 mgL-1 NAA. The effect of IBA concentrations (0.25; 0.50; 0.75 and 1.0 mg L-1) and MS and JADS culture media was evaluated on in vitro elongation. The clones differed during in vitro multiplication of shoots and they had an average multiplication rate of 3.0 shoot clusters in each subculture. The responses of the clones to different concentrations of IBA, as well as to MS and JADS culture media differed for elongation in vitro. The range between 0.40 and 0.80 mg L-1 AIB provided the highest number and length of in vitro elongated shoots and the best vigor of shoots.

O presente trabalho teve o objetivo de avaliar o efeito da redução da área foliar de miniestacas apicais e intermediárias e de diferentes substratos (vermiculita e composto orgânico) no enraizamento de seis progênies de meios-irmãos de Anadenanthera macrocarpa a partir de minicepas de origem seminal. As avaliações foram realizadas na saída da casa de vegetação (30 dias) e da casa de sombra (40 dias) para sobrevivência e exposição de raízes na extremidade inferior do tubete. Na fase de crescimento a pleno sol, aos 70 dias após o estaqueamento, foi avaliado o percentual de sobrevivência, enraizamento, altura, diâmetro de colo, número de raízes e massa seca da parte aérea e da raiz das miniestacas enraizadas. Observou-se para tipo de substrato e tipo de miniestacas diferença entre as progênies quanto às características analisadas. O substrato à base de vermiculita proporcionou maiores médias quanto à sobrevivência, enraizamento, altura, diâmetro do colo e peso de massa seca de raiz. De modo geral, para sobrevivência, enraizamento, número de raízes e massa seca da parte aérea e da raiz constatou-se que, independentemente da progênie, a miniestaca apical com 10 cm de comprimento e com a folha inteira apresentou maiores médias. Portanto, utilizando a vermiculita como substrato as miniestacas apicais com 10 cm de comprimento e folha inteira mostraram-se mais adequadas à propagação vegetativa de material seminal de Anadenanthera macrocarpa por miniestaquia.

This paper aimed to evaluate the effect of leaf area reduction of apical and intermediate mini-cuttings and different substrates (vermiculite and organic substrate) on the rooting of six half-sib Anadenanthera macrocarpa progenies from mini-stumps of seminal origin. The evaluations were carried out in the greenhouse (30 days) and the shade house (40 days) for survival rate and roots percentage observed at the bottom of the container. Survival rate and rooting percentage, height, stem diameter, number of roots, and dry mass of shoot and roots of mini-cuttings were evaluated, in the full sunlight area, 70 days after staking. The results showed that are not differences between progenies for type of mini-cuttings and substrate to characteristics evaluated. The vermiculite substrate provided the best results for the survival rate, rooting percentage, height, stem diameter and weight of dry roots. In general terms, apical mini-cuttings up to 10 cm in length and entire leaf had higher averages survival rate, rooting percentage, root number and dry weight of shoot and root. Therefore, using vermiculite as substrate, apical mini-cuttings up to 10 cm in length and entire leaf were more appropriate for vegetative propagation from seminal material of Anadenanthera macrocarpa by mini-cutting technique.

RESUMO O objetivo do presente trabalho foi desenvolver uma metodologia para a propagação vegetativa do paricá (Schizolobium amazonicum) via estaquia, avaliando o efeito do AIB (0, 8000, 16000 e 32.000 mg.L-1) no enraizamento de estacas apicais e intermediárias. As bases das estacas foram imersas na solução de AIB por 10 segundos e em seguida foram estaqueadas em tubetes de polietileno de 110 cm³, preenchidos com substrato orgânico (Bioplant(r)). A irrigação das mudas foi feita por meio de um sistema de nebulização com uma vazão unitária de 7 L.h-1. Após 40 dias, avaliou-se: porcentagem de sobrevivência, porcentagem de estacas enraizadas, porcentagem de raízes observadas na extremidade inferior do tubete, número médio de raízes, comprimento da maior raiz, presença de calos, vigor e massa seca de raízes. Os resultados para as características avaliadas, com destaque para a sobrevivência, demonstraram que as maiores médias foram obtidas em estacas intermediárias, independente da dose de AIB utilizada. A maior porcentagem de enraizamento, número de raízes, comprimento e massa seca das raízes, em ambos os tipos de estacas foi obtido com a maior dose de AIB testada (32.000 mg.L-1). Com base nos resultados obtidos, conclui-se que a técnica de estaquia associada à aplicação de reguladores vegetais pode ser utilizada para a propagação vegetativa de S. amazonicum.

ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to develop a methodology for the vegetative propagation of paricá (Schizolobium amazonicum) through cutting, evaluating the effect of IBA (0, 8000, 16000 and 32,000 mg.L-1) on rooting of apical and intermediate stakes. The base of the cuttings were dipped in IBA solution for 10 seconds and then were staked in polyethylene tubes of 110 cm³, filled with organic substrate (Bioplant(r)). The irrigation of the seedlings was carried out by means of a nebulization system with a uniform flow rate of 7 L.h-1. After 40 days, were evaluated: percentage of survival, rooting percentage, percentage of roots observed at the lower end of the plastic tube, average number of roots, length of roots, presence of calluses, vigor and root dry matter. The results for the characteristics evaluated, with emphasis on survival, showed the highest averages were obtained at intermediate stakes, regardless of the dose of IBA. The highest rooting percentage, root number, length and dry mass of roots, in both types of cuttings was obtained with the highest dose tested of AIB (32,000 mg.L-1). Based on these results, it is concluded that the technique of cutting associated with application of plant growth regulators can be used for vegetative propagation of S. amazonicum.

Objetivou-se, neste trabalho, avaliar o resgate de árvores adultas de angico vermelho (Anadenanthera macrocarpa) pela decepa da árvore e anelamento do caule, bem como a viabilidade da propagação vegetativa da espécie por meio da estaquia. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso, em arranjo fatorial 2 x 2, constituído de duas técnicas para a indução de brotações basais (anelamento e decepa) e dois tipos de estacas (herbáceas e semilenhosas), com quatro repetições compostas de 12 estacas por parcela. O anelamento do caule e a decepa da árvore foram eficientes na indução de brotações basais em árvores de A. macrocarpa, sendo que a decepa proporcionou maior emissão de brotações basais. As estacas herbáceas apresentaram maiores porcentuais de enraizamento, independente da técnica de resgate. De modo geral, o resgate e a propagação vegetativa de árvores adultas de A. macrocarpa foi tecnicamente eficiente.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the vegetative rescue of adult Anadenanthera macrocarpa trees through the induction of epicormic shoots from tree severance and stem ringing, as well as the efficiency of cutting technique on the propagation of the species. The experimental design used was random plots, in a 2 X 2 factorial arrangement, constituted by two techniques for the induction of basal shoots (tree severance and stem ringing) and cuttings types (herbaceous cuttings and semi-hardwoods cuttings), in four replicates and plots of 12 cuttings per repetition. The tree severance and stem ringing were efficient in the induction of basal shoots in adult A. macrocarpa trees. However, the tree severance provided higher emission of basal shoots. The herbaceous cuttings presented higher rooting percentages, independent of vegetative rescue technique. In general, we conclude that the vegetative rescue and the vegetative propagation of A. macrocarpa adult trees are technically efficient.

O artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre a obra do grupo de rap paulistano Racionais MC's, ressaltando momentos de interlocução entre seus dois últimos álbuns de estúdio: Sobrevivendo no inferno, de 1997, e Nada como um dia após o outro, de 2002. Verificamos nesse percurso discursivo a presença de vozes que se entrelaçam e apontam para um discurso coletivizado, buscando a identificação da periferia com a retórica do grupo, mas que apontam também para uma imersão na subjetividade, para a problematização do próprio discurso, atuando como uma forma de depuração da experiência social na favela. Propomos, ainda, que Sobrevivendo no inferno compreende um momento de inflexão no pensamento do quarteto. Desse modo, temas e perspectivas presentes, ainda que embrionariamente, no primeiro álbum analisado, apontam para os dramas que ganham corpo no segundo.

This paper presents a reflection on the work of the rap group from São Paulo Racionais MC's, highlighting points of dialogue between his last two studio albums: Sobrevivendo no inferno, 1997, and Nada como um dia após o outro, 2002. We found, in this discursive course, the presence of voices which intertwine and indicate a collectivized speech, seeking the identification between the slums and the group's rhetoric, but they also point out to an immersion into the subjectivity, to the problematization of the discourse itself, acting as a form of debugging of the social experience in the favela. We argue further that Sobrevivendo no inferno represents a turning point in the thinking of the quartet. Thus, themes and perspectives present, although embryonically, in the first focused album, point to dramas that take shape in the second one.

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o efeito da inoculação dos fungos micorrízicos arbusculares (FMAs) e rizóbio no enraizamento, crescimento e nutrição de mudas de angico-vermelho (Anadenanthera macrocarpa (Benth) Brenan) propagadas via miniestaquia. Foram utilizadas seis progênies, das quais foram confeccionadas miniestacas com um par de folhas inteiras, bem como tubetes de 55 cm³ contendo substrato comercial Bioplant®. Foram testados quatro tratamentos: 8 kg m-3 de superfosfato simples (SS) misturados ao substrato; 4 kg m-3 de SS misturados ao substrato; 4 kg m-3 de SS misturados ao substrato e adição de suspensão contendo rizóbios; e 4 kg m-3 de SS e adição de suspensão contendo rizóbios e 5 g de solo contendo esporos de FMAs. Não houve interação entre os tratamentos para percentagem de sobrevivência das miniestacas e percentagem de miniestacas com raízes observadas na extremidade inferior do tubete, na saída da casa de vegetação (30 dias) e da casa de sombra (40 dias), provavelmente em função do sistema radicular ainda estar em formação. Houve diferenças entre as progênies para percentagem de sobrevivência das miniestacas, percentagem de miniestacas com raízes observadas na extremidade inferior do tubete, altura, diâmetro de colo e massa seca da parte aérea. As avaliações das características de crescimento das miniestacas enraizadas, principalmente com relação à sobrevivência a pleno sol (140 dias), evidenciam a eficiência dos rizóbios e FMAs na produção de mudas desta espécie. Conclui-se que a associação simbiótica com rizóbio e/ou FMA favorece a produção de mudas de A. macrocarpa via miniestaquia.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizae fungi (AMF) and rhizobium on rooting, growth and nutrition of seedlings of angico-red (Anadenanthera macrocarpa (Benth) Brenan) propagated by minicutting. Six progenies were used, of which were prepared cuttings with a pair of complete leaves. It was used a 55 cm³container filled with commercial substrate Bioplant®. Four treatments were tested: 8 kg m-3 of superphosphate (SS) added to substrate; 4 kg m-3 SS added to substrate; 4 kg m-3 SS added to substrate and adition of a suspension solution containing rhizobium; 4 kg m-3 SS and suspension solution containing rhizobium plus 5 g of soil contaminated by AMF spores. There was no interaction among treatments for survival rate of cuttings and roots observed at bottom of the container, evaluated in the greenhouse exit (30 days) and the shade house exit (40 days), probably because the root system was still in formation. There were differences among the progeny for survival rate of the shoots, the percentage of cuttings with roots observed at bottom of the container, height, stem diameter and shoot dry weight. The evaluations of the growth characteristics of the cuttings in, particularly with respect to survival at full sun (140 days), demonstrate the efficiency of rhizobium and AMF on seedling production of this species. We conclude that the symbiotic association with rhizobium and / or FMA favors the production of seedlings of A. macrocarpa by minicutting.

RESUMO O presente estudo teve como objetivos avaliar o comportamento de clones de Eucalyptus grandis W.Hill ex Maiden x Eucalyptus globulus Labill e Eucalyptus urophylla S.T.Blake x Eucalyptus globulus Labill e o efeito de diferentes introduções in vitro (aos 30, 90 e 150 dias após a poda do ápice das minicepas) na fase de estabelecimento in vitro. As minicepas, fornecedoras dos explantes para a introdução in vitro, foram conduzidas em minijardim clonal semi-hidropônico. Segmentos nodais de 21 clones de Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus globulus e 8 clones de Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus globulus foram coletados, desinfestados e inoculados em meio de cultura MS, suplementado com 0,5 mg L-1 de BAP e 0,1 mg L-1 de ANA. Após 30 dias em cultura, foram feitas as avaliações e concluiu-se que houve variação entre clones, bem como entre introduções in vitro, para as variáveis estudadas, sendo possível o estabelecimento in vitro da maioria dos clones.

ABSTRACT The present study aimed to evaluate the behavior of Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus globulus and Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus globulus clones and the effect of different in vitro insertions (at 30, 90 and 150 days after pruning the donor plants) in the in vitro establishment phase. The mini-stump plants, explant providers for the in vitro introductions, were cultivated under an indoor semi-hydroponic clonal mini-hedging. Nodal segment explants of 21 Eucalyptus urophylla x Eucalyptus globulus clones and eight Eucalyptus grandis x Eucalyptus globulus clones were harvested, disinfected and inoculated in an MS culture medium, supplemented with 0.5 mg L-1 of BAP and 0.1 mg L-1 of NAA. After 30 days in culture, evaluations were made and it was concluded that there were variations among the clones, as well as in vitro introductions, for the studied variables, where the in vitro establishment was possible for most clones.

Objetivou-se com o presente estudo avaliar a eficiência da técnica de miniestaquia na propagação vegetativa de progênies de meios-irmãos de angico-vermelho (Anadenanthera macrocarpa (Benth) Brenan) quanto à produção de brotações e sobrevivência das minicepas, enraizamento das miniestacas apicais e intermediárias tratadas com diferentes doses do AIB (0; 2.000; 4.000 e 6.000 mg L-1), assim como determinar a velocidade de enraizamento em casa de vegetação. As minicepas foram obtidas a partir de mudas produzidas via sementes de seis progênies de meios-irmãos de angico-vermelho. Com base nos resultados obtidos, as minicepas apresentaram produtividade de 1,2 a 3,7 miniestacas/minicepa/coleta e sobrevivência de 84% a 98% ao longo das seis coletas realizadas. As miniestacas apicais foram superiores em relação às intermediárias, com maior predisposição ao enraizamento, no entanto o AIB não teve efeito significativo sobre o enraizamento das progênies estudadas. Quanto à velocidade de enraizamento, os resultados indicaram variação entre as progênies.

The objective of this work is to evaluate the efficiency of the mini-cuttings technique in the vegetative propagation of half-sibs of angico-vermelho (Anadenanthera macrocarpa(Benth) Brenan) regarding to the productive capacity and survival of mini-stumps, rooting of the apical and intermediate mini-cuttings treated with different doses of IBA (0, 2000, 4000 and 6000 mg L-1) as well as to determine the speed of rooting in the greenhouse. The mini-stumps were obtained from seedlings of the six progenies of Anadenanthera macrocarpa half-sibs. The mini-stumps presented productivity from 1,2 to 3,7 mini-cuttings/mini-stump/collection and survival of 84% to 98% after six harvests. The apical mini-cuttings were higher than the intermediate, more prone to root, but the IBA had no significant effect on the rooting of the progenies. The results of the rooting speed showed variation among the progenies.
